Van Jones Chokes Up Over ‘Hero’ Biden’s Oval Office Address‘I Love That Man’
"CNN commentator Van Jones choked up at President Joe Biden’s Oval Office address on Wednesday, praising the president as a “hero” who “fell on his sword.”
Following Biden’s address, during which he explained his decision to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race and endorse Vice President Kamala Harris, Jones became emotional over Biden’s remarks about character.
“He asked the question, ‘Does character still matter?’ Well, it does tonight. It does tonight,” said Jones, as he started to choke up on camera. “The kid with a stutter did good. He did good. That’s a good man. He fell on his sword. He fell on his sword. Most heroes, they fight til the bitter end. He fell on his sword.”"
