"Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and billionaire Elon Musk got into a public spat on Wednesday after Musk accused the Democratic Party of being “openly & boldly antisemitic.”
After it was reported that around half of House and Senate Democrats were absent from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s controversial speech to Congress, Ocasio-Cortez reacted, “Just so we’re clear, Netanyahu has lost so many people that he is addressing just a fraction of Congress.”
She explained, “When this happens, they fill the seats with non-members, like what they do at award ceremonies, in order to project the appearance of full attendance and support.”"
