"Minnesota Governor Tim Walz delivered a rousing speech on Tuesday in Philadelphia, just hours after Vice President Kamala Harris chose him to be her running mate.
Walz introduced himself to the American public and went after former President Donald Trump and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH). At one point he told the crowd, “Violent crime was up under Donald Trump – that’s not even counting the crimes he committed.”
When it was Vance’s turn, Walz questioned the senator’s personal story as told in his bestselling book, Hillbilly Elegy. After being raised in humble beginnings, Vance went to Yale and embarked on a career in venture capitalism."
