"The daughter of right-wing figure Steve Bannon admitted that her father was expected to serve his full four-month prison term despite muted objections from some elected Republicans including House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA).
During a Monday interview on Real America's Voice, Maureen Bannon was asked what members of Congress were doing to free her father from prison after he was sentenced to four months for contempt of Congress.
"So you know, a few weeks ago, actually on July 22nd, Congress submitted another amicus brief, and we're waiting for the results of that amicus brief at this point," Ms. Bannon explained. "His case is still pending appeal through the legal channels.""
