CNN Guest Suggests Musk Doesn’t Need a Background Check Because He’s ‘Gotten Us to the Moon’

"CNN guest Arthur Aidala appeared to make the case on Thursday that billionaire Elon Musk shouldn’t need a background check to work in the White House because he has “gotten us to the moon.”

During a CNN NewsNight debate about Musk’s involvement in the second Trump administration, host Abby Phillip noted, “Elon has an office in the White House, he has a White House badge. As far as I know, he has not passed a background check. He hasn’t passed an FBI check.”

Aidala responded, “Because he’s achieved more than any American. Who’s gotten us to the moon? Who’s gotten us into space? He’s got the number one car company.”"
