"A reverend speaking at the National Pro-Life Summit did a Nazi-like gesture in a direct reference to the Elon Musk incident following President Donald Trump’s inauguration.
Musk caused quite a stir across the world when he made the gesture in early January. While speaking at Trump’s inauguration, he twice put his right hand on his chest before emphatically extending his arm outward with his open palm facing the ground. Although it was nearly identical to the Nazi salute used in the mid-20th century, Musk has repeatedly denied that was his intent. Instead, the billionaire claimed he gesturing that his heart was reaching out to the crowd.
Critics, however, haven’t bought that excuse and continue to accuse him of knowingly doing a Nazi salute. Making matters worse for Musk was the fact that even Germans believed he was calling back to the political movement once led by Adolf Hitler."
