"President Donald Trump blasted Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) in response to a question about whether he plans to call the governor following the assassination of a Democratic lawmaker in Walz’s state.
Speaking with ABC’s Rachel Scott on Sunday, the president pulled no punches when asked whether he plans to speak with the governor — following the assassination of Democratic Minnesota state representative Melissa Hortman.
“Well, it’s a terrible thing,” Trump told Scott. “I think he’s a terrible governor. I think he’s a grossly incompetent person. But I may — I may call him. I may call other people too.”"
