"President Donald Trump has pledged to “save” New York City from “Communist Lunatic” Zohran Mamdani, saying in a social media post that he will “save New York City.”
Speaking out on his Truth Social platform Wednesday morning, Trump tore into Mamdani, who won the Big Apple’s Democratic primary last week.
As President of the United States, I’m not going to let this Communist Lunatic destroy New York. Rest assured, I hold all the levers, and have all the cards. I’ll save New York City, and make it “Hot” and “Great” again, just like I did with the Good Ol’ USA!
Trump is no stranger to criticism of Mamdani, who called himself “Donald Trump’s worst nightmare” during a mayoral debate."
