Daily Beast Deletes Salacious Epstein Article After Challenge From Melania Trump’s Attorney
"The Daily Beast deleted an article on Thursday in which author Michael Wolff claimed convicted child predator Jeffrey Epstein was involved in President Donald Trump’s introduction to Melania Trump.
An attorney on behalf of the first lady challenged the framing of the outlet’s story, and an editor’s note was published in place of the article.
“Editor’s Note. After this story was published, The Beast received a letter from First Lady Melania Trump’s attorney challenging the headline and framing of the article. After reviewing the matter, the Beast has taken down the article and apologizes for any confusion or misunderstanding,” the company’s statement read."
