"ALBANY (TNS) — If Gritty and Seth Rogen had a love child, the result might look something like Frankie Focus.
Gritty, for those who don’t know, is the meme-famous Philadelphia Flyers mascot. Seth Rogen is, well, you likely know who Seth Rogen is. And Frankie Focus?
Frankie, if I may be informal, is the mascot newly unveiled by Gov. Kathy Hochul. He’s a lime-colored monster with fuzzy hair, denture-perfect teeth and, beneath black glasses, bulging blue eyes.
“I’ve got a friend here, one of my best friends, who I want you to get to know,” Hochul said Sept. 4 during an appearance in New York City. “Frankie Focus, he’s introduced here today for the very first time. He doesn’t say a lot; he’s kind of quiet. That’s all right; that’s all right.”"
