"LENORE, W.Va. (WOWK) — United States politician Bernie Sanders promised his supporters a voice, and today the people of southern West Virginia showed up with theirs.
Sanders was met by a large crowd inside the Lenore Community Center in Mingo County on Saturday. He led a conversation of hope and care and was all ears to the concerns of Mingo citizens.
One woman thanking him for the trip.
“West Virginia currently has four members of Congress; we’re down from five recently,” she said. “Not one of them is willing to come here and do what you are doing, so I want to say thank you.”"
