"California Gov. Gavin Newsom short-circuited during an awkward interview after the host brought up pro-Israel lobbying group AIPAC.
“Um, AIPAC. I will not vote for a candidate that takes $1 from AIPAC,” said Higher Learning host Van Lathan during an interview with Newsom last week.
Newsom sat awkwardly as he replied, “It’s interesting. I mean– It’s interesting, I haven’t thought about AIPAC in- It’s interesting you’re like the first to bring up AIPAC in years, which is interesting.”"
