‘Why Would I?’ Dr. Oz Refuses to Reveal Trump’s Health Care Plan to Fox Anchor
"Dr. Mehmet Oz, the administrator for Medicare and Medicaid Services, told Fox Business Network he was “over the moon” to hear that the Senate has agreed to reopen the government, but wouldn’t share the Trump administration’s next steps for the Affordable Care Act.
Sunday night, seven Democrats and one Independent senator joined with Republicans to vote in favor of ending the shutdown without securing an agreement to continue offering subsidies to the millions of Americans on the Affordable Care Act.
Oz told host Maria Bartiromo, “It’s the right thing for the American people. You should not be negotiating important issues, in this case, the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid under an extortionary situation where you’re holding the government hostage.”"
