Deputy AG Contradicts Trump on FBI Election Probe, Claims Tulsi Gabbard Is ‘Not Part of This Investigation’
"Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche raised more questions than answers during an interview with Fox News on Monday night.
On Wednesday, FBI agents executed a search warrant at the Fulton County Election Hub and Operation Center in Georgia, which President Donald Trump lost in 2020. Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence, was photographed on the scene inside a vehicle containing boxes of documents taken from the site. Notably, Gabbard has no oversight of the FBI and no statutory investigative authority. Nevertheless, Trump, who falsely claims the 2020 election was rigged against him, said last week that Gabbard is on the case.
“She’s working very hard on trying to keep the election safe,” Trump said. “As you know, they got into the votes. She got a signed judge’s order.”"
