2:07:29Now PlayingHonest conversations about transgenderism and its effects on women's spaces are often silenced, cancelled or de-platformed, which is why The Democracy Fund hosted an event, on August 28, 2022, dedicated to protecting women's spaces in the age of transgender activism.
The event was hosted by acclaimed National Post and Epoch Times columnist Barbara Kay; the panel brought together experts from many perspectives:
● Kim Jones – mother of the Ivy League swimmer who competed against transgender athlete, Lia Thomas
● Heather Mason – an advocate, activist and former prisoner at a women’s penitentiary where transgender prisoners were placed along with the female population
● Amy Hamm – a Vancouver nurse and writer who is being prosecuted for her defence of women’s spaces; and
● Jenn Smith – a transgender-identified activist, writer and child protection advocate
This was a no-holds-barred discussion about one of the most important issues facing women and girls — and all of us. This truly was a fascinating panel discussion on one of the most controversial topics in Canada today.
