Campus Blowback

Leftist student groups reflexively signed on to condemning Israel and praising Hamas. But when they were roundly condemned, especially by alumni, many backed down. “Oh, we didn’t really mean it.”…Israelis were lulled into complacency because they believed Gazans wanted a better life. Many were working in Israel.  There are Jews who support Hamas, that’s the equivalent of black Americans being pro-slavery.  10 – 7 may be a seed change… perhaps people will wake up to the evils of those who wish to annihilate Israel.  Liberals should separate themselves from the Left.  Students for Justice in Palestine plans ‘Day of Resistance’ celebrating anti-Israel violence on U.S. college campuses.  Biden sends aircraft carrier group to eastern Mediterranean in response to Hamas attack on Israel… but Dennis is skeptical that this will be effective.
