16:46Now PlayingDonald Trump won his 2024 presidential election campaign on the promise that he was going to make America great again and lower prices on day one. one of Donald Trump's campaign promises was that he was going to bring manufacturing back to America through the use of tariffs. his theory was that the prices would be so high that this would force companies to manufacture in America instead of manufacturing overseas. Donald Trump said that this would provide Americans with high paying jobs and would improve the economy. One of the companies that decided they were going to set up a plant in America is Hyundai. they had a joint project with LG to manufacture electric batteries in Georgia shortly after they started operations to train Americans to work in that factory. there was an ice raid that resulted in 500 South Koreans being detained and the South Korean government had to send in planes to recover their citizens. the American employees did not get trained on how to do their jobs and now we do not know if South Korea will continue their Hyundai project in Georgia. Governor, Brian Kemp is headed to South Korea to try to talk it out, but he refuses to stand up to Donald Trump to prevent this from happening in the future. we have too many Republicans in this country that will not stand up to Donald Trump even when they know what he is doing is wrong.
