Self-driving trucks are no longer science fiction. Companies like Aurora are already preparing to scale autonomous trucking across America… and millions of truck drivers could eventually lose their jobs because of it.

As someone who actually works in this industry, I should probably be completely against it.

But the truth is more complicated than that.

For decades the trucking industry has become harder, more stressful, and less sustainable for drivers. Deregulation, collapsing freight rates, endless surveillance, long hours away from home, and corporate pressure have turned trucking into a lifestyle fewer and fewer people actually want.

So what happens when technology finally arrives that can replace us?

In this video I talk about:

• The rise of autonomous trucking

• Why companies are pushing so hard for driverless trucks

• The real state of the trucking industry

• Why so many drivers feel burned out

• The moral conflict behind automation and job loss

• And why this debate is much bigger than just trucking

This isn’t a simple “good vs evil” conversation.

And honestly… that might be the scariest part.
