YouTube Description
as posted by the channelSomething is very wrong in Denver's freight market.
For the second time in a short period, I found myself having to deadhead hundreds of miles out of Denver just to find freight. As an owner-operator truck driver, that's not normal. Denver has long been one of the major transportation hubs in the Mountain West, so when freight starts disappearing, it raises some serious questions.
In this video, I share what I'm seeing on the ground, what it means for truck drivers, and why this could be another warning sign for the broader economy. We'll talk about freight demand, shipping volumes, trucking rates, and why freight markets are often one of the first places economic weakness starts to show up.
Is this just a temporary slowdown, or is Denver's freight market trying to tell us something?
