Dr. Whitehead is an Associate Professor of Communication and African & African-American Studies in the Department of Communication at Loyola University Maryland. Dr. Whitehead is also the Director of the Karson Institute for Race, Peace, and Social Justice. In this spicy interview, Jesse and Dr. Whitehead debate the real root of the problem in black America, the so-called merits of the civil rights movement, and the move to defund the police.
