Vice President of Ipsos, Chris Jackson, and Director of Polling and research fellow at the Cato Institute, Emily Ekins, join Hill TV to discuss what these numbers tell us about the anxiety Americans feel about paying rent and mortgages and how it compares to the 2008 Great Recession. This survey was conducted online within the United States from April 19-20, 2020 among 958 registered voters by HarrisX. The sampling margin of error of this poll is plus or minus 3.17 percentage points. The results reflect a nationally representative sample of registered voters. Results were weighted for age within gender, region, race/ethnicity, income, political party, and education where necessary to align them with their actual proportions in the population.
