as posted by the channelOn today's What America's Thinking, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds bipartisan support for extending the UI benefits that were part of the CARES Act for at least one more month. 35 percent of all registered voters say it should be extended until the duration of the coronavirus pandemic no matter how much it would cost. Hill Reporter, Mike Lillis, provides an update on the status of the next coronavirus relief package out of Congress. Mallory Newall, Director of Research at Ipsos, joins Hill TV to explain public opinion on the issue. This survey was conducted online within the United States from July 17-20, 2020 among 2,829 registered voters by HarrisX. The sampling margin of error of this poll is plus or minus 1.84 percentage points. The results reflect a nationally representative sample of registered voters. Results were weighted for age within gender, region, race/ethnicity, income, political party, and education where necessary to align them with their actual proportions in the population.
