8:15Now PlayingOn today's What America's Thinking, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds 44 percent of voters said they are less happy now compared to last year while just 20 percent said they are more happy and 35 percent said they are just as happy as 2019. Dan Cox, Public Opinion research fellow at the American Enterprise Institute and FiveThirty Eight Contributor, joins Hill TV to explain public opinion on the issue.
This survey was conducted online within the United States from August 8-11, 2020 among 2,828 registered voters by HarrisX. The sampling margin of error of this poll is plus or minus 1.84 percentage points. The results reflect a nationally representative sample of registered voters. Results were weighted for age within gender, region, race/ethnicity, income, political party, and education where necessary to align them with their actual proportions in the population.
