SHOCK POLL: MAJORITY of voters say BOTH parties act in best interest of PARTY LEADERS over VOTERS

On today's What America's Thinking, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds a majority of voters believe the Democratic Party and the Republican party act in the best interest of party leaders over voters like you, at 54 and 60 percent, respectively. Assistant Professor at Georgetown University and Author of "Political Ideologies and Political Parties in America," joins Hill TV to discuss.

This survey was conducted online within the United States from August 18-19, 2020 among 948 registered voters by HarrisX. The sampling margin of error of this poll is plus or minus 3.18 percentage points. The results reflect a nationally representative sample of registered voters. Results were weighted for age within gender, region, race/ethnicity, income, political party, and education where necessary to align them with their actual proportions in the population.
