1:14:31Now PlayingLiftoff for the Boeing Starliner is scheduled for late morning Wednesday at NASA’s Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral, Florida.
This mission, the inaugural flight for Boeing’s spacecraft, was originally scheduled for May 6, but technical concerns have led to several delays for the culmination of a decade-long project.
The Starliner, crewed by flight commander Butch Wilmore and pilot Suni Williams, will head for the International Space Station propelled by an Atlas V rocket. A successful journey will be the first human-piloted flight using the Atlas V since the 1960s, and mark the 100th deployment of the model, including satellite launches.
