The event comes a day after the Ohio Republican sat for a town hall with NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo, where he praised former President Trump, his running mate, and addressed unsubstantiated claims the campaign has pushed about Haitian migrants eating pets.
Just over a week shy of Election Day, Trump is leading Vice President Harris 49.1 percent to 47.6 percent in the Tar Heel State, according to The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s polling index.
The campaign event in Raeford, N.C., is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. EDT.
