YouTube Description
as posted by the channelHouse Republican leaders will brief the press Wednesday morning, as the GOP prepares to transition to full leadership of Congress and the White House.
Their presser follows President Biden’s recent announcement that he would pardon his son, Hunter Biden, of his federal gun and tax charges. Republicans, and some Democrats, have pushed back on the move, as the White House consistently said Biden would stay out of his son’s legal matters.
“Trust in our justice system has been almost irreparably damaged by the Bidens and their use and abuse of it,” Speaker Mike Johnson wrote Monday on social platform X in response to the news.
The briefing also comes as Republicans’ last spending deal is set to expire ahead of the holidays.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. EST.
