as posted by the channel

Former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) is testifying Thursday morning before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence to make her case as President Trump's pick for director of national intelligence.

Gabbard, an ex-Democrat who joined forces with the GOP on the 2024 campaign trail, is facing an uphill battle in the Senate. The decorated veteran, who still serves as an Army reservist, has taken heat from both sides of the aisle on controversial comments she's made about the Russia-Ukraine war and her past support for national security leaker Edward Snowden.

The confirmation hearing is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. EST.
