28:46Now PlayingPresident Trump hosts French President Emanuel Macron on Monday, the first visit by a European leader to the White House since Trump returned.
They started their day by taking part in a virtual meeting with fellow leaders of the Group of Seven economies to discuss the war in Ukraine, which marked the beginning of its fourth year on Monday.
Trump has pushed for a quick deal to end the war. Macron and other European leaders face uncertainty about US involvement going foward.
In the last week, the president has turned sharply against Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, falsely claiming that Ukraine started the war. On Tuesday, three of his senior administration officials met with their Russian counterparts in Saudi Arabia to discuss mending relations between the two powers and ending the war in Ukraine.
