Health and Human Services Secretary (HHS) Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Tuesday is expected to unveil a plan to remove eight petroleum-based synthetic dies from the country's food supply — the latest move in his pursuit to "Make America Health Again."

The move comes months after the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) banned the use of controversial red dye from food and ingested drugs that have been linked to cancer.

Kennedy will be joined by FDA Commissioner Martin Makary.

The press conference is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. EDT.
