The markup comes a day after the committee released a 389-page proposal to extend key provisions Trump’s 2017 cuts — an issue that has divided moderates and more conservative members of the GOP.
The measure also seeks to raise the cap on the state and local tax (SALT) deduction from $10,000 to $30,000 for those making less than $400,000 per year. For wealthier households, the cap is gradually reduced according to income.
The event is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. EDT.
