The official death toll in Gaza has surpassed 62,000 people and more than 100 children are reported to have died because of malnutrition. There are estimated to be around 22 Israeli hostages still alive in Gaza, as well as 28 who are believed to be deceased.
Hundreds of thousands of Israelis protested against Netanyahu’s latest plans on Sunday. Olmert led Israel from 2006 to 2009.
