1:21:21Now PlayingWhite House press secretary Karoline Leavitt will brief the media Tuesday afternoon as President Trump looks to ramp up immigration enforcement in major cities.
The Supreme Court on Monday lifted a lower court's limit on immigration stops in Los Angeles based on a person speaking Spanish or working in a certain profession. In its wake, the Trump administration is expected to escalate its immigration operations in cities such as Chicago and Boston.
The briefing also comes as the president is faced with questions about his past relationship with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein's estate on Monday turned over a tranche of documents to the House Oversight Committee, including a controversial birthday book which allegedly includes a note from Trump.
The press briefing is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. EDT.
