In his visit to Toledo, Ohio, Vance is expected to tour an industrial shipping facility and deliver remarks on how the Trump administration’s policies impact the Midwest. Ohio Republican gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and Small Business Administration chief Kelly Loeffler are also expected to speak.
Trump has maintained that the U.S. economy is strong despite rising affordability concerns and falling approval numbers.
Later Thursday, Vance will travel to Minneapolis.
His remarks are scheduled to begin at 9:20 a.m. EST.
