U.S. Customs and Border Patrol Commander-at-Large Greg Bovino and Marcos Charles, Acting Executive Associate Director, Enforcement and Removal Operations for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) spoke in general terms about children taken into custody.
The officials also asserted their position that 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was well treated by officers during ICE operations to arrest his father, Adrian Alexander Conejo Arias.
