3:20:01Now PlayingDepartment of Homeland Security (DHS) officials will testify before the House Tuesday morning on oversight of its agencies, as criticism mounts over federal agents’ tactics when enforcing President Trump‘s deportation agenda.
The hearing before the House Homeland Security Committee also comes with DHS funding on the line. Lawmakers have until Feb. 13 to pass a funding bill or another continuing resolution to avoid a shutdown.
Witnesses include Immigration and Customs Enforcement Acting Director Todd Lyons, Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Director Joseph Edlow.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. EST.
