Is U.S. Gov't Poisoning Our Military? Moms Across The U.S. Share Research Results | RAISING AMERICA

In this episode of Raising America, Elizabeth is in Washington D.C. with Founder and Executive Director of Moms Across America, Zen Honeycutt. Together, they discuss an independent research study that Moms Across America did into the U.S. Military. They tested 40 meals and ration foods - including Meals, Ready to Eat (MREs) - from 6 different military base cafeterias, for 240 different pesticides. Their results are shocking. Raising America reached out to the Pentagon for comment, a Pentagon official told us:

We provide high-quality, safe food through Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) partnerships with the Food and Drug Administration; the U.S. Department of Agriculture; the U.S. Army Natick Research Development and Engineering Center.

In addition, Department of War inspectors conduct worldwide testing and inspection, quality assurance and quality control, to ensure that our people everywhere receive nutritious, quality meals, that meets or exceeds food safety and quality standards established by Titles 7 and 21 of The US Code of Federal Regulations, and further by the USDA, EPA, FDA, and others.
