Landsman says the operation’s goal was to dismantle a missile shield that would have enabled Iran to reach weapons-grade uranium. He praises strikes that removed launchers, rockets, drones, and manufacturing sites and urges finishing the mission without pursuing regime change. On the DHS shutdown, Manchin pushes for immediate funding for TSA via a discharge petition and argues Congress can fund all of DHS except ICE now warning the stalemate is harming airport security and calling ICE a “rogue agency” that should be reformed before expanding airport operations.
