as posted by the channel

The Trump administration and Iranian leaders arrived at what amounted to a tenuous ceasefire agreement after some five weeks of strikes by U.S. and Israeli forces against Iran and counterstrikes against Israel and other allies of the United States in the Middle East.

President Trump early this week demanded in harsh words that Tehran adhere to terms including allowing ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. That maritime bottleneck is crucial to supplying international oil markets.

Vice President JD Vance left Friday, April 10, for negotiations with an Iranian delegation to begin the following morning in Islamabad, Pakistan.
