President Trump said last month that Vance's new role as "fraud czar" will mainly focus on blue-run states, including Minnesota, who is currently under investigation over allegations of fraud within its social services programs.
The Department of Labor and its Office of Inspector General also recently announced a new partnership following Trump's executive order that established a task force on the issue.
Vance will also be joined by the Federal Trade Commission Chair Andrew Ferguson.
