Dr. Mehmet Oz, administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), will lead the White House press briefing on Tuesday afternoon.

Oz's turn at the podium comes a day after the Trump administration issued a final rule requiring most Medicaid beneficiaries ages of 19-64 to provide proof they are working, complete community service or participate in a work program to be awarded benefits.

The briefing also comes as uncertainty mounts around the U.S.-Iran ceasefire and a deal to end hostilities in the Middle East and reopen the Strait of Hormuz after Tehran halted negotiations over Israel's strikes on Lebanon.
