YouTube Description
as posted by the channelPresident Trump is scheduled to give remarks on Friday at a nonpartisan club in West Palm Beach, Fla., just hours after formally telling Congress that the ongoing ceasefire with Iran stopped the clock tied to the 60-day deadline invoked by the War Powers Act.
Before departing the White House for Florida, Trump also suggested to reporters that the Vietnam War-era law is unconstitutional.
The annual dinner at the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches has had many notable speakers on both sides of the aisle in the past: Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), the late former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and current and former Supreme Court justices such as Clarence Thomas.
