YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

Rand Paul thinks government needs to get out of marriage. He, like many others, thinks marriage is solely a religious institution. What he fails to realize is that marriage is a civil and state-based institution that confers a plethora of important rights to couples, therefore getting government out of marriage will, in effect, destroy it as an institution and make it completely useless. His reasoning is largely influenced by religiosity and not his libertarian ideology, as he implicitly argues.
