3:42Now PlayingPresident Obama stated that, when it comes to protecting the water supply of millions of residents in North Dakota—including members of the Standing Rock Sioux tribe--he wants to "let it play out for several more weeks" and allow water protecters to continue to be assaulted by militarized police officers and armed mercenaries with attack dogs. Also, his solution is to compromise, saying that he's looking at rerouting the pipeline, but that doesn't solve the issue of its construction in the first place, which threatens water.
