Trump’s 180° Reversal on Transgender Rights: He’s Now Pro-Discrimination

After his supporters have insisted that President Trump is pro-LGBT, he finally showed his true colors and proved them wrong. He rescinded an Obama-era executive order that withheld federal aid from schools that enforced discriminatory policies on transgender students. He's now leaving the decision up to states as to whether or not schools can implement such policies. This opens the door to even more harassment and bullying of trans students in red states, a proportion of the population that's already disproportionately at risk.
