5:06Now PlayingAfter California's Assembly Speaker, Anthony Rendon, decided to unilaterally kill S.B. 562—the state's single-payer healthcare bill—he faced national criticism, with calls from across the country flooding his offices. Nonetheless, he didn't seem to care, and has since refused to bring S.B. 562 up for a vote, presumably because his health insurance industry donors are controlling him. As a direct result of his corruption, there's now a recall effort underway to kick him out of office and replace him with someone that is willing to support S.B. 562. #RecallRendon
