7:49Now PlayingAfter Trump denounced a NBC News report as "fake news" and expressed desire to revoke their license, Ajit Pai was put in a really awkward situation as Chairman of the FCC. On one hand, condemning Trump's remarks—as he was expected to—put him at odds with the president that gave him his current job and is allowed him to pursue his pro-corporate agenda. On the other hand, siding with Trump makes him a hypocrite, who has consistently bemoaned any and all government regulations. No matter how Pai responds... well, he's still screwed. Pai finally made a statement after conspicuously remaining silent for a week. We'll talk about his response in this segment.
