6:12Now PlayingIf you thought the healthcare situation in America was bad already, wait until you hear from a GOP lawmaker from Tennessee, Diane Black, who wants to make it even worse. A Reagan-era policy known as Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA), which prohibits emergency rooms from turning patients away, is apparently too liberal for her, as she believes ERs should be able to turn people away at their own discretion. People would undoubtedly die as a result of this. It's a new low for Republican cruelty, but it shouldn't be too surprising given the direction the Party has been going in.
