11:48Now PlayingThe Republican Party is currently trying to convince average Americans that tax cuts for the rich is actually in their interest—when it’s not—because these rich people will be so touched by the Republican Party’s generosity that they’ll be inclined to invest in the economy, create more jobs, and even raise their employees’ wages as a direct result of cuts to their taxes. The problem, however, is that this premise is false. In actuality, we're going to be getting screwed over as a result of these tax cuts. Republicans will try to cut medicare, medicaid, and social security in order to fund tax cuts to the richest 1% of Americans; and after being pressed on this issue by Bernie Sanders, Republicans ended up letting the cat out of the box... I mean... cat out of the bag.
