5:47Now PlayingThe House and Senate both voted to pass the Republican tax reform plan that raises taxes on middle and lower class Americans while simultaneously cutting taxes for the richest 1% of the country. Prior to the vote, Senate Republicans snuck in a provision that lured one reluctant Republican: Bob Corker. He voted for the bill, and signaled support for it immediately after this provision was included. Even without this particular provision, Republican lawmakers—most of which are multi-millionaires—would still personally benefit from the passage of this legislation. They literally voted for a tax reform plan that will make themselves even more rich. This is theft.
